Gross Motor

Gross Motor       When asked about their favorite part of the school day, many of our preschoolers enthusiastically name outdoor play as their top choice. Their joyful smiles, laughter, and boundless energy are a wonderful reflection of just how much they value and enjoy their time outdoors.    Beyond the joy it brings, outdoor play is an important part of our preschoolers’ physical development. Running, climbing, jumping, balancing, and navigating playground equipment help children strengthen their gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and body awareness. These active experiences provide children with opportunities to build confidence and develop physical skills that support their overall growth and independence. 2026-27 First Week of Peschool

Image
First Week of Preschool We had a fantastic first week to start the school year off. The students are getting to know the routine, and the returning students are doing a great job showing the new students the ropes. They’ve been excellent examples. When asking the kids what their favorite part of preschool is, the answers range from the swings, to the climber, to the slides and bikes outside, and when talking about inside activities, the kids love the blocks, art activities, Magnatiles, and the drama area. The staff is enjoying getting to know the new students and are impressed with how well all the students are learning the expectations and having fun throughout the day. Don’t forget, if you have a questions or concerns, please ask Angelica or Heidi. We are happy to answer any questions and discuss your concerns.
